My Favorite Day In Ocean Beach

I was just looking at pictures and found a few from my best friends baby's first birthday party.  They rented a beachfront in Ocean Beach (OB3) and invited friends and family over to celebrate the milestone.

It was a wonderful day!  I can't believe how quickly times goes by. She's now 2 and just loves visiting the Jersey Shore.

Someday soon Ocean Beach will be just as wonderful as this day.

LBI Chamber Meeting

On Tuesday we attended the Southern Ocean County Chamber Meeting at the  Sea Oaks Country Club.  This meeting was a good way to kick off planning for the upcoming season.  The keynote speach was by  economist Joel Naroff. Joel provided insight about 2013 provided insight from a national, state and local level following Sandy.   We also received updates for the State of NJ by

Assemblywoman DiAnne Gove.  At a more local level, Ken McGill provided insight on LBI tourism.
The most important message was that we all need to communicate that the Shore and our businesses will be open for Summer 2012.

Cool App: Open

We just read about the Open app on another blog and had to check it out for ourselves. The app allows you to enter text over a picture from you phone.

We take a lot of sunrise photos at the beach and thought this app would be a great way to include a nice message like "Greetings From The Jersey Shore."

It seems like a great way to include inspirational quotes from your own vacation photos. It could even be as simple as saying "wish you were here".

Save it and then post to facebook:)

How To: Fly A Kite

I'm just looking out my window watching a father and daughter try to fly a kite on the beach.  It looks like such a nice way to spend a winter day together.  There doesnt seem to be much wind today which seemed to make kite flying a bit challenging.  This made me think - what is the best way to fly a kite?   Here are some tips: http://www.wikihow.com/Fly-a-Kite

Next time you are vacationing at the Jersey Shore - why not rent one of our Prism Kites to share a cool experience with someone you love.
