Full circle

Way back in my consultant days I worked  on system implementations for the government.  I found the materials management and procurement process to be very interesting.   I still remember many of the acronyms!

I am thrilled to report that Relax is now a vendor that will be listed in one of these government systems. We look forward to submitting for government contracts in the future under the linen supply NAICS category:)

It's amazing how things go full circle.

Family

It's amazing how much family help with running a small business. This year we've received lots of help with babysitting this summer. Family has also been so important to the success of relax. Today my husband is out doing deliveries and my dad is helping me with some deliveries and office stuff.  Today he put together our other adirondack chair. We bought 2 when we got the store and have only had time to make 1. Now it's complete!!!

In Honor Of Prince Harry's Visit To The Jersey Shore

Prince Harry to visit the Jersey Shore.

Prince Harry will be visiting the Jersey Shore tomorrow to see the destruction caused by Hurricane Sandy.  He will be visiting two of the hardest hit towns - Mantoloking and Seaside Heights.     It will be the first time in 74 years that royalty has visited the Jersey Shore.   Prince Harry will be touring with Governor Christie who was (and continues to be) so instrumental to all those impacted by the hurricane.

In honor of Prince Harry's visit to two of our top delivery towns in the northern Jersey Shore region - we are temporarily renaming our Single (a.k.a. Twin) rental sheets "Prince".

We've always offered Queen and King linens without ever really associating them with Royalty.  We thought this would be a great way to welcome Prince Harry and spread the word:  THE JERSEY SHORE IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS.

By no means are we going to rename our Full size rental linens for anyone else on the tour. :)

We look forward to seeing you this Summer at the Jersey Shore.

Super Bowl XLVIII Business Connect

Today we met with the Super Bowl committee for an overview of opportunities for small businesses. The session was held at NJ PAC and included an overview of the event and breakout sessions. We met with lots of great businesses hopeful to participate.

We'd love to offer our rental items and services for their various events!

We will keep you posted on any updates as we get ready for the process.

So far we are happy to be recognized by the Super Bowl committee!
