Homeowner Services

Summer may have just ended but the Jersey Shore is already gearing up for the next season.  Realty offices up and down the shoreline are currently working with homeowners to set their 2014 Summer rental rates. We are here for homeowners looking to  make their home more relaxing and enjoyable for their guests!   We offer homeowner discounts for linen rentals and can provide a list of references for homeowners interested in our services.

Saturday Roundup

I can't believe it's almost the end of the prime summer season. We all had a great time today doing deliveries and pickups all over the Jersey Shore. I was happy to be out on the road doing deliveries and pickups too.

Here are some of the photos I took during the day.

Fun Stop On Way Back From Pickup

We love it when we get to mix business with pleasure. Today we had a pickup scheduled in Brigantine.  After doing this, we figured it would be cool to visit Gardners Basin. I've never been before but have seen the artist shacks featured in magazines.  We also got a good tip on a restaurant from our employee Darla.

It's a little tricky to get to since its kinda by the Revel. Upon our arrival, there was a lot of free parking. We were tempted to stop at the aquarium to visit the sharks during shark week but we are saving it for another time.  We decided to walk around the few stores that were open and then headed right for Bay Bay Ale House.

This restaurant is pretty cool. Lots of folks were outside with dogs at the bar. We opted to sit on the porch. Food and service was great. My steak sandwich was fantastic and so was my allagash white beer. For a quick second I felt like I was in Key West. I will be back- probably after another weekday Brigantine order:)

Sand castle, Apple, Brigantine and Flooding

Yesterday afternoon was pretty action packed. We had a pickup in Brigantine so I figured it was a good time to also get one of our office Macs to the Genius Bar since we are only getting busier and busier every day until the end of summer.

The Pier at Caesers in Atlantic City has an Apple store so we headed there. We planned to check out the new Margaritaville restaurant too after we saw some great pictures from our team members of Jimmy Buffet himself there last week.

After dropping off the Mac, it had just started to rain so my sister and I decided to save Margaritaville for a sunny day.  We were excited to find that the International Sandcastle Contest was going on right outside of the Pier and since it was just drizzing we decided to check it out.  It was the perfect opportunity to walk around and check out the amazing talent.  It was also a great photo opp for the baby to pretend he made one of the castles with his new sand toys.

From there, we went to Continental for a super late lunch.   After living in the Philly area for a few years,  I miss Continental and head there any chance I can get.

The Mac was finished about 2 hours later.  On the way home we didnt realize how bad it must have been raining.  That must be a casino thing:)   While driving through Margate we came up on some of the worst flooding I've ever experienced.  We were on an one way narrow street with no other option but to continue.  The water was definitely up to the wheel well and other SUVs around us did stall out.   We were fortunate.   Here are some suggestions should you ever be driving in a flooded area.

My First Crib Rental Experience

Here I am hanging out near my rented crib in sunny Florida.
Our family is in the process of planning our first vacation since the baby was born.  Our baby is  four months old now and is ready to visit his cousins in sunny Florida.

We are excited to take a trip to meet our new cousin and also to catch some sun since we don't do much sitting during the summer months.

My mom brought out some pictures from my first vacation to Florida.   I was about the same age as my son.    When asked how it was traveling with a baby - my mom said they rented a crib and it made their vacation so much easier.   Who knew that someday I'd own a rental equipment business that provides cribs to vacationers staying at the Jersey Shore!

Now back to planning our vacation!

Favorite bakeries at the shore

One of our favorite things to do is hitting a local bakery at the shore. Whether it be walking, riding our bike to or taking the convertible we like to make a trip to the bakery a small excursion.

Here are our favorite spots:
Scone pony (Spring Lake) - fantabulous crumb cake and fancy pastries
Muellers (Bay Head) - fantabulous crumb cake and cakes
Ferrara's (LBI) - good donuts!
Aversa's (brigantine) - good donuts!
Who's on First (Oc)- best scones at the shore
Browns (Oc) hot donuts. Gotta eat them while you are there.
Mallons (Oc, avalon, stone harbor) - sticky buns
